JobNixa ("we", "us", "our") operates this job portal to connect job seekers and employers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account details: name, email, phone number, and (for employers) company name, collected when you register.
  • Resume & profile data: your resume file, designation, experience, current/expected CTC, and notice period, if you're a job seeker.
  • Job posting data: job descriptions, hiring timelines, and contact details, if you're an employer.
  • Payment information: transaction records for Premium membership or job-posting packages. Card/UPI details are handled entirely by Razorpay — we never store them ourselves.
  • Usage data: pages visited, searches performed, and application activity, used to improve matching and site performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account, including email verification.
  • To connect job seekers with relevant job postings and employers with relevant candidates.
  • To process payments for Premium membership and employer packages via Razorpay.
  • To send transactional emails (verification, password resets, application status updates).
  • To moderate job postings and maintain a spam-free, trustworthy platform.

3. Who Can See Your Information

Your resume and application details are visible only to the employer(s) whose jobs you apply to, and to our admin team for moderation and support purposes. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and application data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights

  • Access, update, or correct your profile information at any time from your dashboard.
  • Delete your resume at any time from the Resume page.
  • Request full account deletion by contacting us at the details below.

6. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt) and are never stored or transmitted in plain text. Payment transactions are verified server-side using Razorpay's signature verification.
